About

I'm a backend-focused software engineer at Netcompany, working on a business-critical public-sector system: keeping a .NET platform from 2012 running in production while building the foundation of its replacement — from Keycloak auth and messaging to CI/CD and observability.

Before that I spent two years at EFFIMAT owning two production systems end to end: an event-driven IoT monitoring platform processing ~40K data points a day, and a multi-tenant sales configurator with Microsoft Entra ID SSO. I did that alongside my B.Eng. in Software Engineering at SDU, where I also taught cloud computing to 140+ students.

I'm most interested in backend architecture, financial systems and data pipelines — and in the unglamorous parts that make software trustworthy: health checks, release plans, migrations, and dashboards that tell you what broke. Outside work you'll find me lifting, running, cycling, or digging into quantitative finance.

    • Built most of the foundation for a new .NET 10 platform replacing a 2012-era legacy system: Clean Architecture with CQS, Keycloak auth, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, and structured logging and OpenTelemetry tracing exported to Elasticsearch.
    • Designed its Azure DevOps CI/CD as modular templates: images built from parallel Windows and Linux Dockerfiles, pushed to Artifactory with immutable tags and deployed per environment, ready for the move from IIS to Windows containers. Switching to Linux images is a config change, laying the groundwork for Kubernetes.
    • Led the hands-on execution of a ~600-hour quarterly production release across multiple IIS servers; the dependency health checks I had built pinpointed misconfigured servers inside the release window.
    • Cut batch processing time by ~90% (up to 12× faster, e.g. 65.9 s → 6.0 s at 170 items) through batching, query optimisation and production SQL Server indexing.

    • Owned a high-priority authorization case end to end, from root-cause analysis across frontend and backend to an approved solution design, estimate and customer communication.
    • Acted as technical point of contact while the project lead was away: customer contact, status reporting to a 20-person delivery team, and onboarding a new consultant.
    • Built Kibana observability dashboards as code and traced silently dropped OpenTelemetry spans to an Elasticsearch mapping conflict.
